Why All The Fuss About Item Upgrade?

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling
